At Desert View Animal Hospital, we provide surgical services to treat the young and old alike. We regularly perform basic soft tissue surgeries like spays and neuters, along with far more complicated procedures. Our doctors are well-trained to provide exceptional care to patients with cancer, gastrointestinal foreign bodies, lower urinary tract disorders, knee injuries (e.g. ACL tears), just to name a few!
We make every effort to insure the safety of your dog during any anesthetic procedures using state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, pre-surgical blood work and dedicated anesthesia technicians to monitor your dog during and after the procedure. All our anesthetic agents and protocols are designed to provide the shortest duration of anesthesia and a safe, smooth recovery.
For patients that require highly specialized care and/or advanced diagnostic procedures intra-operatively, we work with the top surgeons in the Phoenix metro area at VETMED consultants and Arizona Veterinary Specialists.
